Hey - I was just listening to "Ready to Fly" and decided to look you up. A friend (Judy Graham) gave me your CD years ago and I have loved it - the song makes me cry every time. Just looking to see if there's new stuff and I'm excited to get Green Girl!

I wanted to let you know that I have been a fan of Calaveras since I
first heard your music. We saw you at the house concert in Cameron
Park and your song "Ready to Fly" made me more emotional than the first
time I heard it. I found the CD "Life in the Years", the compilation
with 19 other songwriters that is raising funds and awareness for the
elderly. I had the task of placing my dad and my step-dad in assisted
care facilities three years ago, within two months of each other. It
has been an educational experience I never thought I would have to go
through, but this music has made it bitter-sweet. I am purchasing
enough CDs for the staff of both care facilities as I feel they will
gain a closer feeling for each and every resident they care for. I
know it has made a difference in how I feel. Thank you for caring
enough to contribute to this foundation.

So good to talk to you at dinner at FAR-West. I blogged about the conference when I got home and you're in it at http://web.mac.com/nancyschimmel
"Ready to Fly" is still in my head.

Hi Again,
So, now I'll write to tell you just how amazing and blessed I was to hear your concert last night. I've sent you website to my friends in Woodbridge, CA hoping that they can catch one of your performances.
I am getting goosebumps all over again, listening to your music as I write this. My husband and I met through music and had our own band for 12 years, playing as the houseband for a catering facility on the water on Long Island. We were the local "Partridge Family" of the 70's and early 80's. Our son now makes a good living with his cover band "The Zoo" (check out TheZooBand.com) He leads the group and is married to the "girl singer". He started out as a drummer (like is Mother!). I so often thank God for CREATING music! I can't imagine life without it! Looking forward to my next Calaveras Concert, but meantime, I'll be listening to the CD you signed for me and Helen and Bill gifted to me. Blessings, Lynn Buttner

Hi,
I saw you many years ago in Alameda. You had a song about a son going off to college. Can you please let me know the name of that song and where I can buy it? Many thanks!!
